When I go to press the keys for els 7, (ex. j, k, l,) the first maybe ten times that I press the keys it dosent respond at all. then when I get it to work, I have to hold down or press the keys for a few seconds before I can get them to change mode. Please help me.

Helped. Not completely though. It allows me to turn it on initially and change modes more easily, but I still have to press the key about 3 or 4 times before it will change and if I hold it down, it takes about 2 seconds. Is there another solution that will make it change every time I press it?

Have you read the ELS read-me? I'll bet it's somewhere in that lengthy tome of information.

I just looked and I don't think its in there because it says that it will activate one the button is pressed. Does it POSSIBLY have something to do with me using windows 8? Should I try to run it in a certain compatibility mode?
